Mark 6:1-6 Rejection at Nazareth

Relection:

Amazed at their lack of faith. To have faith is to believe in God, to trust him, and to depend on him. Faith makes us accept what God says and does to us. And with faith we will see God perform mighty deeds for us.

At Nazareth, many who have heard Jesus question his family background and doubt his teachings. They listen to their prejudices and so lack the faith needed to see the good works of Jesus.

God does not look at our social or family background. God does not dwell on our past. God always believes in us and trusts our goodness, our capacity, and our commitment.

Resolve to begin and end your day in prayer to Jesus and with inspiring words to family and to people under your care.
